I make beaded jewelery professionally, for gifts, and for my own enjoyment. I particularly enjoy coming up with designs that are both original and simple, and that set off the unique qualities of whatever materials I am using. I was originally drawn to jewelry because of my love of rocks, and the stones themselves are often the most important elements in my pieces. I also love knotting -- the perfect necklace is a gorgeous strand of rocks, hand-knotted to bring out the simple beauty of each bead.
